With a larger mezzanine leaning post and an updated forward cockpit it lives up to its “Family Edition” name by creating an abundance of social space for you to enjoy time with friends and family. The aft cockpit features an updated live well and transom cooler box, and two additional in deck fish boxes so the 33 FE is right at home offshore, inshore, at the beach, or just cruising to lunch.

Volvo Penta and Southport Boats of Maine have partnered to produce a sleek new version of the boat builder’s 30-foot center console model, with a focus on versatility to accommodate the boating interests of everyone onboard. The vessel is the first in the US to offer this new system, which demonstrates the company’s commitment to providing boaters with a premium experience through technology that increases enjoyment when driving a boat. The captain simply engages the Docking button on the base of the joystick control, and boat maneuvering features – steering, gear control, bow thruster, throttle – are controlled easily with just one hand. This feature holds the boat’s speed and heading at the press of a button. The boat’s steering is then controlled easily and conveniently through the fingertip control of the joystick.

The 30 FE offers the best of both worlds by combining a large on-deck feel and offshore capabilities in a mid-sized center console package. The new design increases space on deck and adds modern touches to the layout. The 30 FE offers increased aft and forward cockpit space for fishing and entertaining, with some all new features including insulated transom fishbox (in addition to the classic in-deck fishboxes), newly designed mezzanine seating, rear swim decks, and an even more comfortable console interior.
